Work??

I am 18 weeks 5 days and feel so incredibly drained and defeated with the constant nausea and vomiting. I was finally diagnosised with HG this week after trip #2 to the ER this month. So I am curious, how is everyone surviving work?? I am a physical therapist, so on my feet all day (Already on light duty) and already calling out often. But, now the vomiting is getting worse and more frequent.

So far my work has been understanding, but I can't do 4.5 more months of this and work full time. How is everyone surviving this and working???

Maternity Leave

Hi all! Popping on here to see if there has been anyone else whom has gone out early on disability due to pregnancy? I'm a pelvic floor PT and my employer is pushing me to double book, despite already being on light duty (not lifting more than 20lbs and breaks every 2 hrs - which they arent giving me).. I'm almost 18 weeks and don't know how I am going to survive 4ish more months of this as I'm already having issues (rising BP, daily headaches, regularly throwing up, etc.). Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! I'm in CA for reference.

CA disability leave

Hi all! So I live in California and I'm currently 17 weeks 5 days pregnant. My work has essentially been harassing me to increase my work load throught out pregnancy and I am struggling. For example my doctor put me on light duty and my work asked if I really needed it. Then just today told me I need to be seeing more patients a day... My blood pressure is rising, I am throwing up throughout the day, I am waking up with headaches every day, etc. So I'm contemplating asking my doctor to put me on leave early, but I don't understand what that would look like regarding disability vs. FMLA or if it is something different entirely. If it means anything the end of this month will be a year of employment with this company as well. Any insight would be appreciated!

Have you ever had to call APS?? A patient threatened suicide and my clinic protocol says I have to call it in. I did, but now I am worried about the patient retaliating against me bc there is clearly some mental health issues going on.
