Daughter bought an iPhone 17 in Dec on ATT payment plan. Just found out that her eSIM is locked.

Option 1: pay off the phone to unlock the eSIM

Option 2: please advise

She leaves on 5/20 from US for 3 months. She has a Saint plan, but can’t load it yet.

UPDATE: Instead of paying off the phone, we put her phone on the ATT International plan for 3 months. It’s an additional $30 per month, but she was going to pay $22/month for a Saily eSIM. We can transfer back to her regular plan when she returns.
