Did Instacart Discontinue Lists?

I went to shop on Instacart today and the Lists feature is either moved or removed. Does anyone know what happened? I spent a lot of time to construct shopping lists on various stores, so having that feature yanked is painful.

When I ask the support bot on Instacart about this it tells me to select the Account icon and then look for Collections or Saved Lists. My submenu under Account has neither.

It's also incredibly frustrating that they make it so hard to file a case with a human being.

Help Building Windows Defender Offline CD With Old OS and RAID

I want to scan an old Windows 8.1 system for viruses (it has more than one). I downloaded the Windows Defender X64 offline scanner and installed as an ISO. on a clean Windows 11 computer.

Here is where it gets complicated. The Dell storage system on the computer is a PERC H310. Dell never supported Windows 10 on this controller. But the controller is a remarketed LSI 9240, and LSI still distributes the latest driver for that controller, which is a Windows 10 X64 driver. I patched the Windows ISO with the LSI 9240 X64 drivers for Windows 10 and then burned a CD.

Unfortunately, the Windows Defender boot disk bombs with the blue screen of death, and predictably that is while loading the megaraid driver. At this point do I have any options for running Windows Defender Offline?

I looked for other offline virus scanners, and almost all of the well-known ones appear to have disappeared. Kaspersky refuses to talk to US customers. ESET apparently does not give it away for free. Avast wants you to install their anti-virus software first. Are there any good offline rootkit scanners that would do a good job on an older Windows 8.1 system?

Why Do Text Files Opened From Solid Explorer Open in Safe Mode?

I am using ChromeOS on an Acer Chromebook Plus 516 GE. I configured the file manager Solid Explorer to have access to my cloud storage. I independently configured my text editor QuickEdit+ to have access to the same cloud storage. When I open a text file in cloud storage using Solid Explorer, and specify QuickEdit+ as the app to use to Edit the file, I get what looks like a safe copy of the file. If I save changes, they don't get reflected in the original cloud storage text file. If I do a File | Save As and manually navigate to the file in cloud storage, I am able to overwrite it from within QuickEdit, and the edits now exist in cloud storage.

Why are all of my cloud storage text files opening in some kind of safe mode that makes a copy of the file and changes its filename? How do I configure either the OS, Android Settings, Solid Explorer, or QuickEdit+ settings to just allow me to edit files I open at the location where they were opened?!

Why Does ChromeOS Forbid Basic Control of Android Permissions?

I want to be able to exercise full and tight control of every Android permission granted to every Android application. Why does ChromeOS make this so unbearably difficult, and actually just impossible? When you go to Apps in ChromeOS and find your Android app of interest, you have essentially no control over most of the permissions. When you go to the three dots ... you can select "All Permissions" but this brings you to a read only view, and what is worse it's not even a consistent view of permissions because each app shows a slightly modified group of permissions and not a consistent or complete view.

Why is it so difficult to just give me the ability to set whether a given application has access to my various storage systems, USB-mounted devices, or cloud storage? It seems extremely basic, and the inability to do this at times makes ChromeOS almost unusable.
