glue seam finish on new GEL-Nimbus 27 from fk, or should I exchange? (Passed Poizon check)

Hey everyone,

Just picked up a pair of ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27. I ran them through POIZON authentication and they passed, so authenticity isn't an issue.

However, taking a closer look at the join between the knit upper and the FF Blast+ midsole, I noticed some visible glue lines and slightly fuzzy/rough edges along the seam. When gently pulling the outer knit edge, the lip lifts slightly, though the underlying bond seems intact.

Attached photos showing the close-ups along the midsole and the PureGEL area.

I do have a replacement option currently available, so I can easily swap them out if this is actually a defect.

For those who own the Nimbus 27:

  1. Is this standard factory variance / cosmetic glue finish for this model?
  2. Has anyone experienced actual separation or durability issues down the road from seams that look like this?

Appreciate your input before I decide whether to keep them or use my replacement window!

Advice Needed: Male in 20s applying for Health & Term Insurance. High Homocysteine & GB Polyps — Disclose vs. Hide? How to approach Pre-Login Queries?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for realistic advice from folks who understand health and term insurance underwriting in India, or anyone who has navigated complex medical histories during the application stage.
My Profile:
Demographics: Male in late 20s, residing in a Tier-2 city. Non-smoker.
Seeking: A comprehensive Health Insurance plan (looking at top-tier plans like HDFC Ergo Optima Secure) and a Term Life plan.
The Medical Profile:
I have a historically fluctuating metabolic profile that is now completely resolved through lifestyle changes, alongside an incidental imaging finding:
Historical Spikes (Past 1–2 Years): Past blood panels showed transient spikes in SGPT/and Triglycerides. I also have an elevated Lipoprotein(a) level and high Homocysteine . Ultrasounds also picked up incidental, asymptomatic gallbladder polyps/stones (measuring up to 10mm).
Current Status (Latest Panels): Significant resolution through strict lifestyle management. My latest blood work is optimal: SGPT is well within normal limits, Triglycerides are optimized (<100 mg/dL), Total Cholesterol is normal (~158 mg/dL), and HbA1c is a rock-solid 5.0%.
Specialist Clearances:

  1. A formal clinical evaluation from a major tertiary teaching hospital's Gastroenterology Department explicitly states the gallbladder findings do not explain my symptoms and that a laparoscopic cholecystectomy is NOT indicated or required.
  2. A report from an Endocrinology Department attributed my past weakness and elevated Homocysteine to a severe Vitamin D and B12 deficiency, which was treated with high-dose supplementation.
A good insurance helping company Warning & My Internal Debate (Disclose vs. Hide):
When I discussed this with an online insurance helper , they gave me a "50-50 chance" of approval and warned that a direct rejection gets permanently logged in the IIB (Insurance Information Bureau) database, triggering potential auto-rejections across other insurers.
This has triggered a huge internal conflict on how to proceed:
The Case for Non-Disclosure / Hiding: Since I am young, healthy, currently asymptomatic, and unlikely to need hospitalization anytime soon, part of me feels like hiding these past findings. Why pay inflated loaded premiums or risk an outright IIB rejection/permanent exclusion for a condition that may never require surgery? If I wait out the 5-year moratorium period without making claims, shouldn't the policy be safe?
The Case for Full Disclosure: On the flip side, hiding hardcoded corporate medical records (from major labs/hospitals) seems like a ticking time bomb. With digitised health records, TPAs, and CKYC/PAN tracking, a claim in Year 2, 3, or even later could trigger an investigation, leading to claim repudiation and policy cancellation for non-disclosure/fraud when I need coverage the most.
    My Questions for the Community:
  3. Disclose vs. Hide Reality Check: For incidental/resolved findings like these, is non-disclosure a huge trap in today's digital insurance grid, or do people actually pull it off? Is full disclosure with a 36-month waiting period always the strictly better financial strategy long-term?
  4. Pre-Login Query Process: The broker suggested floating my medical file off-the-record as a "Pre-Login Query" to underwriters before formally logging my PAN/Aadhaar. Has anyone successfully used this route to test the waters without risking an IIB rejection flag?
  5. Handling High Homocysteine: I was warned that elevated Homocysteine often triggers an automatic direct rejection (especially for Term Life) as an uninsurable cardiovascular risk. If I get a fresh test proving my Homocysteine has normalized after B12/D supplementation, will underwriters accept that it was just a temporary nutritional deficiency?
  6. Gallbladder Polyps (3-Year PED vs. Permanent Exclusion): With tertiary specialist clearance stating surgery isn't needed, is it realistic to expect a health insurer to apply a standard 36-month Pre-Existing Disease (PED) waiting period? Or do insurers routinely force permanent exclusions for gallbladder polyps?
Would really appreciate any honest insights from insurance advisors, underwriters, or policyholders who have wrestled with this choice!

TL;DR: Male in 20s with resolved liver/lipid spikes, high Homocysteine, and asymptomatic GB polyps (cleared as non-surgical by a top hospital). Insurance helper guy warns of a 50-50 rejection risk. Torn between full disclosure (risking rejection/loading/exclusions) vs. non-disclosure (risking claim denial/fraud cancellation later). Looking for advice on Pre-Login queries.

Moving houses: Need reliable AC technician + affordable AC parts (Copper pipes, Stabilizer)

Hi everyone,
I recently shifted to a new house and need to get my split AC installed and fully checked out.
I’m looking for two things and would appreciate some solid recommendations:

  1. Trusted AC Technicians
Does anyone know a reliable, "cheap and best" technician or a trustworthy service company? I know platforms like Urban Company are an option, but as we know it’s not available in eluru if there are better local alternatives, specific trusted agencies, or reliable online platforms you guys have personally used and had a good experience with.
  2. Best Place to Buy AC Parts (Copper Piping & Stabilizer)
I need to buy extra copper piping and a good stabilizer.
Are there any online platforms that offer genuine parts at wholesale/discounted prices?
If you know of any physical wholesale markets or highly trusted local shops known for fair pricing on AC spares, please drop the names/locations below.
Looking for a balance of good quality and reasonable pricing. Thanks in advance for the help!
