

Los Angeles[CA]renters rights for single family home?
On April 30th 2026 I got served a 60 day notice to vacate the property that I’ve lived in since August of 2019 because the owner intends to sell.
Then 15 days later May 15th 2026. I got another 60 day notice to vacate which moved my date from July 1st to July 14th.
According to them they only need to waive 30 days of rent.
But the second notice is saying they’re simply taking the property off the market. Not that they’re planning to sell now.
Am I entitled to anything other than one months free rent? Because this doesn’t sound right?
I’ve been a heavy user for a few years now, With random sober month here and there. Obviously with sober months, my gallbladder pain and k cramps were gone and I never really felt bladder pain. But for the past two months I’ve had what feels like a uti.
Needing to with barely anything coming out, burning while peeing and pain in my urethra and bladder.
I went to the dr and they said it was a uti did two rounds of antibiotics and nothing happened. Second uti test came back negative so we did a urine culture which also came back negative.
I’ve been taking prelief, peaorea pea and probiotics. Which were helping ease the pain for a bit. But now it seems it’s not working.
I’m going to quit starting tomorrow. I can’t do this anymore.
But my question is how long till the blader issues subsided for you? I know that people who have had bladder problems for years and didn’t stop but for someone who has only had the issues for a couple of months did your pain ever go away?
