Taking inspiration from Rainbow 6 Siege where every Ops has at least 2-3 primaries that can shift up the strategy of playing the characters, supertstrings in strinova get the more variety of primaries to choose from to shake up the balance strategy in a match.

For example, Kokona and kanami get like an smg and dmr for alternative, ming or Mara get shotgun and DMR, and so on and so forth.

Make it time limited game mode to gauge interest with players and gather data to know if this kind of change can be implemented permanently or not?

What do you guys think?

(Also i just want to make discussion about this game in this subreddit, and also just want to see Kokona as a combat medic role rather than just being a sniper lol)

Beside kokona who still played because of her sniper rifle, many of the support characters haven't been picked up this season in favor of more double/triple role pick (vanguard, controller, or duelist).

I almost never see someone using celestia and/or fragrans in ranked or challenge demolition match (yeah i mainly play that mode) since the start of this season. Everyone has been picking Nora with kanami/Lawenne or triple pick with all of them, double duelist as usual and sometimes no controller. Also I've been seeing a lot more frequent Mara pick this season too but that's besides the point.

In any case, with the rare pick on support characters at the moment, i wonder if the devs would buff them (except Kokona) so that they become viable again.

I was playing TD2 incursion with randoms yesterday and since a lot of them don't want to play as the healer/support so i had to be the healer just so they can doing the damage. The problem is the AI enemies were too often targeting me for some reason and had to be downed so many times because of it.

So i was thinking would it be nice to also do damage while keeping my build to focus on healing, like making a combat medic build kind of stuff. But i was lost on how to make one so I need help to make one. I have FI healer build for starters (and probably the only healer build atm), should i change it to hard wired or ortiz reficere for this? Also do i better choose beacon chest piece as the exotic or is there something else?

I'm fine with all types of weapons be it AR, smg, lmg, etc. i just need to at least be able to pump out damage to kill red and purple health enemies for my own combat ability

With the introduction of Nora, this season feels so overwhelmingly difficult. The defender side becomes much harder because of her. It's not even helping too when 2 of the scissors scanner, Kanami and Lawenne gets a significant huge buff to their arsenal, i mean why would their scan (and Nora, especially with her stun and silence) deal damage?!. I would say nora need to be nerfed hard, especially her stunning skill. Put her stun skill in one of the second or third awakening and just keep the damage part when she doesn't have those awakening active.

That's why i keep seeing teams running double or triple scanners on scissors side. It's just so damn oppressive you'd be lucky to take the attackers side in the second round because it's a guaranteed win once Nora is chosen.

Also game somehow getting lots of real players now for some reason, and seeing the steam charts somehow doubled the amount of active players i would say I'm glad this game is somehow booming again. Hope they can stay a little longer and not get discouraged by skilled players and smurfs (pls for the love of god, for the smurfs don't be too damn sweaty to these new and returning players.....pls)

And also Mara's new skin, which is free. My reason to keep playing this game has been extended. Now I just need to wait for idreamsky to not be a wussy and release my wife's legendary skin.
