To people who talked to a career counselor, was it worth it?

I've been wanting to change career paths for a while now, but I have no idea where to start.

I'm curious about talking to a professional, but I'm super broke, so I'd have to save up and I want to know if it's worth it.

Anyone had luck finding clarity?

IS vs ARE: her [blank] and [blank] is/are

Writing a report and feeling a bit dumb lol.

I'm confused on whether to use "is" or "are" in this sentence. In this case both blanks represent uncountable nouns and I think that's what's tripping me up.

I couldn't find an explanation, any help would be wonderful :)

Is there an equivalent to "dona" in English?

I feel like madam doesn't have the same connotation.

"A Dona Maria foi viajar" - "Madam Mary went on a trip"

What would be some other good words for it?
