How to make some extra cash starting ASAP (25 yo woman)

I have my BA in English and I work as a private / personal tutor (for literacy/language acquisition, AP classes, ACT/SAT testing, and middle school courses), which pays enough during the school year, but during the summer months it really dries up, especially June and July. I’m currently scraping bottom of the barrel, and have bills & rent about to be due. It’s gonna be hard to make ends meet without needing to borrow at some point soon. So I’m trying to find a way on the side that I can make enough extra cash to be worth the time, and that I can start cashing out on quickly for my bills. I’ve sold stuff online but that often takes a long time for stuff to sell, and I don’t have many big ticket items I can sell, just smaller things like clothes. I’m relatively decent looking & sociable, and I am good at writing and reading/editing/proofreading, and I have access to a vehicle most of the time. What’s the best way I can start pulling in some extra cash in my free time over the summer months?? Ideally as soon / quickly as possible! Thanks in advance!

bus bunching - why/how?

I am on the 9 bus rn, and after missing the bus I was aiming to catch, I waited 30 minutes for the next bus — which arrived in a group of THREE back-to-back #9 buses (none were even X9!!)! On ventra I can also see that the next 9 bus after these 3 that came at the same time isn’t for another 30 minutes.

I see bus bunching a lot in the city, once I saw 4 buses back to back, all the same route, in a row. But having such large gaps, and then 3 immediately in a row - and listed on ventra as arriving at the same time! - and then another gap, is odd to me. I’m sure it’s not intended or planned that way (obviously) but I’m just kinda curious how it seems to happen so frequently. I’d think if they space out the bus departures evenly, that some degree of spacing would be maintained in their arrivals even later in the route. Any insight? I’d love to have a better understanding of why this occurs so I can be more empathetic and understanding of it in general, bc it does get quite frustrating at times. Thanks!

How would the authors & original audience of Genesis 2-3 (the Garden of Eden creation account) have understood the serpent? What connotations or symbology did snakes hold for their ancient societies?

I’m curious about how the ancient, original audience would have viewed the serpent in the Adam and Eve creation narrative. Obviously in more modern times, the serpent has become often assumed to be a stand-in for the devil/satan. But I was taught in my Theo classes in college that this was not the original understanding, but rather an interpretation that developed over time despite not being supported directly by the actual text itself at all.

I’ve read that snakes often held positive, revered places in many ancient cultures, but I also often see them depicted negatively, too, so I am a bit confused as to how exactly the serpent would have been understood by the original sources and their readers. Why choose the serpent to do the tempting? Is it just tied to the etiological story of how snakes got to be the way they are (aka, forced to crawl on their bellies as punishment from god)? Or, I’ve also read that Tiamat was sometimes depicted with serpent-like features, and im sure there were other depictions/uses of snakes within other nearby ancient cultures and their mythologies — do any scholars view the Edenic serpent as another kind of response to, or argument against, the role of serpents in any of these other mythologies / creation accounts in the region at the time?

I love snakes and have always been curious about this. Would the intended audience of Genesis 2-3 have seen the snake negatively, as a villain/antagonist? Or just an amoral player within the story who is punished accordingly? Thanks in advance!
