My first trip to the Chicago store!
I spent my birthday at the Chicago store and spent way too much money 😅 I got TM127, I’m absolutely in love with her. I named her Chi for Chicago (it was my first time in Chicago too!)
I went to the cafe, which I was a bit nervous to do because I was worried people would think it’s weird, but everyone was so nice and it was a dream come true! I brought Sage (TM39) to eat with me, and my bf borrowed a doll as well.
All the staff were so kind in the cafe and the store, and I wore the birthday sticker so I got lots of birthday wishes ✨ this was my Disney land tbh, felt so magical to me!

What are some good Indigenous spots in Chicago?
My partner and I are visiting from Ontario next week from Monday-Wednesday. We are Indigenous so we would love to visit somewhere that highlights Indigenous history or community in the area, or even hosts local Indigenous art, things like that! I see the Gichigamiin Museum will be closed, so we are looking for any other recommendations! We will be downtown but open to driving anywhere around the city.

Chicago store recommendations?
I am thinking about making a trip to Chicago for my birthday this July so I can go to the American Girl Place! I would probably just go for a weekend, and I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do around the store? I’d love to hear any ideas for what to do while in Chicago, I love cafes and restaurants and any cute local spots that would make for a good trip! I don’t mind doing touristy things too, I just want to hear some of your favourite things to do around the store!
