I've been looking to buy one, but it seems like it's not even on the market.

Are FSP products really that unpopular?

I’m currently planning to upgrade my gaming mouse, but I’ve run into a frustrating realization: there isn't a single mouse on the market that is completely optical.

My ideal mouse would have:

• Optical main clicks
• Optical side buttons
• An optical (or magnetic) scroll wheel

My side buttons always end up failing due to double-clicking (chattering), so having optical switches there is a must for me. Yet, even the most premium "optical" mice still use mechanical switches for the side buttons.

Does anyone know the technical or industry reasons behind this? Why won't manufacturers make a truly 100% optical mouse?
