Players turns taking too long - needing advice

Last session I used a timer to track how long my players take during combat and I was dissapointed but not suprised to find out that most of the turns took around 5 minutes. The longest turn took 11 minutes and it wasn't even from a spellcaster...

I've been DMing for my friends for about 2+ years now, most of them were completely new to the game when we started. I was more patient at the beginning with them taking their time in combat, reading through their spells/class features, but some of them still struggle to remember them without reading through them first. When I was a player I had absolutely no issue remembering the core things my character could to in combat, but I also get really invested in my characters/the campaign.

I don't want to stress my players by setting a harsh timer, but I feel like turns taking 5+ minutes in a party of 5 is just simply too much and causes them to stop paying attention midway through another players turn.

Does anyone have any advice on handeling this sort of situations? It's been a while since I've played with any other group and would love to get some insight if this a general issue or not, thanks!

Vittorio tramp stamp skin - update

Hey, thanks to all the gooner kind feedback I decided to work more on the Vittorio tramp stamp skin concept! I think I’m gonna have it lean into more of a punk vibe but let me know what you think! I will be back once it’s finished! (may take a week or so tho…)
