My Positive Experience

Overall Frontier was a good experience. I would recommend based off my limited experience. Agents were professional and polite. Flight attendants were helpful. People in general were respectful. I get they have a bad rap and it is probably deserved at times. For me I would have paid 3x as much to fly with other airlines and would not have been able to afford up front seats.

I did also fly direct to avoid connections.

I was pretty paranoid about following their bag size rules and was really surprised by what they let people carry on when their bags were clearly oversized.

Mostly an observation from 2 flights this past week. Has anyone else seen this as well? I was expecting the gate agents to go crazy and start rejecting a bunch of people. They didn’t. I did see people getting dinged for oversized checked bags in the ticket check in lines. Those were costly mistakes. People were putting on multiple outfits to get their bag weight under the limit.

Are some airports more strict than others? Has Frontier become more lax with carry on size?

I would absolutely recommend complying with bag size because who knows when and where they will be strict.

PSA When RD Goes Down

RD was down for a couple of hours. It’s common and it happens. Mine just came back online a few minutes ago and I tested with a few different TV shows and movies to see if it was working like usual.

When RD goes down please do not panic post that it is the end for RD even if it is a new error that you have not seen before. I say this because it causes people to go and try to get a refund from RD that will subsequently lead to them banning you for being annoying.

If you are choosing to pay for this service you will have to come to terms that it is not perfect and will go down from time to time. It’s fine. It’s the trade off we pay for this particular convenience.

Most common reasons your RD is not working:

1: any 3rd party service you have connected your account to is having the issue

2: you fiddled too much and messed up settings

3: RD is actually down and needs time to fix itself.

This service has been around for over 20yrs. They are transparent when there are major issues and if it is a long outage they tend to add extra days to everyone’s account to make up for the down time.

If one day the service goes down forever only RD will be the ones to confirm it. New users to RD who panic and say this is the end are not a reliable source of info. People saying they have never seen this error before are not a reliable resource

If you want zero downtime or not have to worry about how to troubleshoot stick with Netflix.

Hey Everyone,

I just got the Frontier CC and I noticed that my miles were not reflecting after the first statement balance (which is when mileage points are sent from Barclays to Frontier). Someone on here had mentioned that they had different mileage numbers between the two accounts. I chatted with Barclays and they confirmed that they had a different Frontier mileage number then the one on the Frontier app.

I called Frontier and it took 5 minutes and they corrected the issue. The points immediately showed up on my app after a refresh.

So if you got the Frontier card recently and your first statement cycle has already come out please check to make sure both accounts are reflecting the same mileage number!

Customer service was easy and clear to talk to and the process was painless. No complaints and issue was resolved immediately.
