Help me decide when to go and itinerary (3 kids+dog)

So first off I absolutely understand that dogs are only allowed on paved roads but bringing her with us is a non-negotiable so with that said I would like to know which hikes are a must do!

My kids will are 6-11.

We live a few hours away so timing is flexible. I'm thinking about either end of Sept (fall break) or early April (too cold?).

I am the most confused about WHERE to stay in relation to where we would be going. Also, since most stays (I would need a dog friendly family cabin) are outside of the park, do you drive in and park in the parking lots in the park daily? Do you have to pay every day you go into the park then?

Thank you!!

Travel Plans for 2027 - 1 person fishes, others don't

For a milestone birthday I want to gift my husband the fishing trip of his lifetime which is to fish in Alaska. Up till now my plan was always just to send him, but I'm wondering if we can make it work so we all go and me and the kids can do other things while he is on his fishing expeditions. So I am thinking to stay somewhere close to the docks so he can leave/come back with ease from his fishing trips, then maybe the kids and I can sign up for some tours to do during the day. My kids will be 7-12 next summer. Anyone have recommendations on lodging, fishing charters, as well as things my kids and I can do? I've googled and saved a ton of companies but it's overwhelming! And I'm assuming we'd fly in/out of Anchorage...

Should I upgrade under Magenta Max or with Experience More?

I decided I am probably going to say for now, they say my plan is going up $6 total, I guess I'll see with the taxes and fees. The thing is of course my phone is now near death and I desperately need to upgrade.

Or should I just upgrade to Experience More now myself, and get more trade-in value NOW

▲ 1 r/myopia

We're in CA, I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through myopia management and gotten Stellist lens. I have 2 kids that need to start so I'm calling all the nearby optometrist. Our optometrist is quoting 2K per year for management and lens around $600.
