New flare, almost under control then had some beers and it came roaring back with a vengeance.

I control my gout with diet, no processed foods, red meat only once or twice a week and rarely ever have flare ups. I had a decent flare up recently (got a little sloppy and ate too many fast food breakfast sandwiches) but it cleared up in a few days with colchicine. Then on Friday I had beers with friends at lunch and bar hopped on Saturday. Woke up Sunday with it raging again. Alcohol has never been a trigger for me…does that mean it is now? Or was I just too close to a flare up to drink beer? Just looking for opinions.

Guys, I have a unique dilemma and I hope y’all can help.

My son in law is colorblind, when I say colorblind I mean he almost sees in black and white, it’s pretty extreme. He REALLY wants to grill, I gave my daughter a pk grill a few years ago (she’s half an expert at grilling). Anyway, every time he tries to grill it’s a disaster. I need some ideas on how to cook steak burgers chicken etc…I guess using a temp probe? Any help is appreciated.

I just found out that Against the Grain closed its location at slugger field.

It was 6 months ago apparently. Does anyone by chance have their recipe for burgoo? It’s the best I’ve ever had.

This lady was actually bathing her dog at the dog park. Got soapy water all in the dog bowls. Gross.

Turning a 10 by 2 inch shallow bowl from a red oak slab, I filled a smallish rotten hole with epoxy, I cannot get this thing round. And the tear out is absolutely insane. My tools are sharp, I am turning slow to get it in the round, my lathe is not out of round, or the spindle bent or anything.
