Hair loss help!

I started Tirzepatide at the end of February micro dosing 1.5mg once a week. I am currently on 2.5mg and I have had no side effects and it has helped me so much with my hashimotos symptoms. My weight loss has been steady but slow a half pound sometimes pound a week (totally ok with that). I still have an appetite and eat normal . However beginning of April I noticed my hair is falling out and I mean bad. I have hashimotos take Synthroid I already dealt with hair loss I take pumpkin seed oil nightly, but not bad like this. I touch my hair and pieces are falling out I don’t even want to brush it, I don’t look forward to hair wash days because the fallout. I see so many people talking about hair shedding on here and I’m just curious will it stop or do I need to stop Tirzepatide?

It makes me feel so good and feel like a human with my autoimmune I would hate to stop it but I don’t want to keep loosing my hair at the rate I am, any advice/tips/ supplements/ foods would be amazing!

Also- I get blood work every 2 months for my thyroid, iron, ect and those labs are the same they have been. my autoimmune TPO numbers are awful so high but - I’m pretty positive it’s the Tirzepatide causing the hair loss.

TIA

I am going on 1 year of being diagnosed with hashimotos, and I am needing advice because I’m struggling. Im a 29 yo (F). I have no other medical history besides hashimotos, iron deficiency, and hypothyroidism (highest my TSH has been is 4). I’m on synthroid 50mcg daily when I switched to 75 I went completely hyper so we are trying my to find the sweet spot . my TSH is 3.5, T3 free 2.4 and T4 free 1.13. My TPO is currently 2900 and my thyroglobulin is 19,000 … yes you read that right 19,000!!!!! and all my endocrinologist says is “don’t worry about your antibodies- keep doing what your doing.” Well what I’m doing is only making my numbers go up.

From last year to now it’s been countless blood draws, ultra sounds (no nodules), adjusting Synthroid, eating gluten free, taking supplements recommended by my endo and this group. I’m just very discouraged as my numbers continue to trend. End of February I even started microdosing a glp1 and I feel so much better, I have lost about 9lbs slowly, inflammation down, so much energy, able to walk and go to sauna everyday, no more constipation, I do have increased hair loss but it could be from the glp1 or my TSH and my antibodies im not sure. I have heard people say the glp1 really helped their antibodies so I was hoping for that but it’s only gone up.

Any advice would be amazing on what to do about my situation. I have yet to see a functional medicine doctor but I will at this point since my numbers just keep trending up even with lifestyle changes. Thank you for any advice :)
