Listen to this. Instead of the purge, every 10 years everyone gets a chance to pick a new person to spend the next 10 years with, officially, by law, by mandate, hunger games style. What if they don't like it? THEY JUST STAY WITH WHOM THEY ARE BAMMM, IF THEY OBJECT TO THE IDEA WE HIT THEM WITH NOTHING TO FEAR IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT BAMMMMMZZZOOO. We make up that it used to exist in SCANDINAVIA before and after the first world war but that WW2 put a stop to it due to blah war death trauma absence bleb blib. But listen to this! Every 5 years everyone gets a chance to spend an entire day with a stranger. It has to be a stranger. So the hardcore nuts that would stay together every 10 years could still have something far more innocent but actually more exciting to look forward to.

Now how do we force everyone to do it without forcing them? Whoever doesn't do it ...their life rermains the same in the eyes of the state/law. Whoever does do it gets free parking every other day, federal including territories. Anyone who wouldn't do it would feel like a dumb ass, get it, exactly because it's not serious, missing out on free parking like a fool. But check this bababonckzurr: they get free parking on every other day starting monday and on sunday. So they don't even get free parking all the time. They'll still do it!

Big finish time: We split them into two. Half get SUN TUES THURS SAT and the other half SUN MON WED FRIDAY This causes elimination of non-essential traffic and resolves congestion plus eco-nonsense and we're fucking geniuses of 21st century.
