Found in the Allegheny National Forest
Never found one before. Just stumbled across it. Didn’t even have a pen to put my name in. Maybe next time.

Got these at a flea market from a WW2 vet that was selling a lot of ammo. Said they were reloads and didn’t know anything more about them. Dimensions are in pictures. Shell says 284 but they all measure at 307.5 teetering on 308. Box says 7.5x55 Swiss but the measurements don’t back that. I appreciate the help in advance!
So I’ve got over 10 acres of forested land in the mountains. I’m not that close to a major city(1.5-2.5 hours depending on what is considered a larger city) but I plan on adding some small cabins to my land to rent out. I’d also like to help people that need it with housing. I was homeless for a short while but it really showed me how little this country cares about people who aren’t in the middle class or higher and I’ve wanted to help ever since. I’m not independently wealthy by any means, but I can work with my hands to save money and I can farm my own food and would share the knowledge. Would it be a good system to allow people to come stay in exchange for minor labor(feeding poultry, maintaining a garden) if they can do it and just let some stay for nothing in exchange if they’re out for the count? I can’t really afford to house/ provide for people 100% but maybe 80%? So would a system like this work for some out there? It would’ve worked for me but I can’t speak for everyone else so I’m floating the idea. Let me know if I should make it a reality and if I should add to/critique the idea. Thank you!
