We rescued Oona in April 2025 — they told us she was a Papillon/Pomeranian mix. She’s 9 years old and so energetic. She suffered from mammary masses which were all removed, and biopsied (benign). She’s the happiest little girl and has the biggest personality. We’re going to do the Embark DNA test soon. Just wanted to share my little girl here!
This is my 8 year old Pom, Rocky! I’m new here so wanted to share some of my favorites. I love seeing all of your Poms. These sweet babies bring me so much joy!
First few are very recent… then we have puppy shot, my wedding day (he was obvi the best man), and some others.
We got Rocky about a month after my childhood Pom Romeo crossed the rainbow bridge (he was just a few weeks shy of 17).
I always support the Friends of the Library when I’m at my public library. On the way out of our library, they have a little hub of great books, old and new, paperbacks, etc. with a donation box. Today I noticed they had this blind date with a book for only $5. I figured I’d give it a try. I am a fan of the author, so it was a win for me. I think the low stakes $5 donation, as well as goodies included would make this more of a success. I’m always indecisive in a book store but this was a no-brainer and went to a good cause. 📚☺️

A lot of new Postcrossers in the U.S. often use regular first class forever stamps, now valued at $0.82. You can use the postcard forever (valued at $0.65) for most cards. I’ve also found absolute joy in using USPS.com to buy all of my stamps. I’m loving my variety currently!
I have a tiny little cheat sheet to easily add up the stamp values to get to the international rate. I have a bunch more on the back, too. This makes it easier for me to know which stamps I need to stock up on. I also keep all of my stamps in this cute little sticker binder.
I’d love for others to share tips about postage. I haven’t purchased any postage secondhand/outside of USPS, so that’s something I’d like to get into.
