lost cat or campus cat?

Saw this cutie pie outside tonight in the Dayton courtyard and brought him a can of food. I'm not super well versed on the cats that live on and around campus, but I haven't seen any close to this side of campus in a long while. Wanted to make a post in case he's a lost cat instead of a campus cat!

Relatively skinny but seems in overall good health, aside from being very hungry. He was nervous but not aggressive, let me pet him a little when he started eating :)

If anyone has any information on this guy that would be greatly appreciated!!

what to do with white sage

To start off, I'm very white 😭 My family history is Irish (my dad claims we're very slim part "Cherokee" like every white man who wants to be unique says)

I was gifted some witchcraft supplies like jars, crystal cages, as well as tarot cards and this wooden box that has two bundles of sage in it. I have always made an effort to steer clear from using white sage in any kind of way as I don't know enough about it, and have heard and read about the notion not to use it as it's part of Indigenous culture and closed practices.

I've done more research and have seen lots of conflicting opinions, especially from indigenous voices specifically. Some people don't mind, and some people do (all very fair!)

I don't want to use it for smudging as I just don't feel comfortable even if someone says it's alright.

But I'm curious if there's other uses or suggestions for what I could do with it? It's been sitting in a box for a while and I feel bad it's going to waste. Is simple burning of it alright or should I leave that alone as well?

This is all genuine questioning, I want to hear more opinions since I just want to do something with this sage. If gifting it to someone or donating it is the best option too, I'll gladly do that!
