This might just be the biggest 180 I’ve ever seen a figure do. The first photos we got of this thing looked like unwiped ass and looked little to nothing like the film design but now I think waiting has paid off. The neck piece had me worried at first but honestly it’s not as bad in person and I never believed that you can replicate a neck like that and make it perfectly articulated without some compromises.

Pros:

- most film accurate looking figure
- paints on the eyes and teeth are very nice
- solid and nothing pops off ESPECIALLY THE LEFT ARM! (Looking at you SHMA)

Cons:
- can’t look up as high as what was shown in the solicitation photos
- the blue was a little overdone and might throw the look off for some people

I feel this release was executed better over SHMA and think this is probably their best Millenium Godzilla yet. Really happy with how this turned out!

Both Blockees kits came in this week and and I didn’t realise how different these two designs were from each other until now but love both of them for different reasons

I would like to personally thank u/robolizard222 for helping me get the custom head and to help me kick off the project. Although I liked Hiya’s version upon release. The paint really annoyed me so I painted it myself around the start of the year. Overtime my repaint started to look worse as I slowly realised how amateurish it looked so I decided to paint it all from scratch. Now I can say that I’m happy with the end result and I can put all the stress behind me.

At the age of 8, one of my first introductions to Toho’s Godzilla was cinemassacre/AVGN Godzillathon. Ended up going through a rabbit hole that got me into the series.
