Bring prints if you have any. Lab prints, drugstore 4×6s, something you ran off an inkjet last night — none of it matters, physical photos just change how a conversation goes. If you don't have prints, bring your phone or a laptop. Nobody's getting turned away over it.

Honored to shoot ringside at Hendo Fight Night 24 in Temecula, CA last night. Since buying my camera, shooting an MMA fight was always the goal. Two years later, I can finally cross that off my list. Here’s to hoping for more amazing opportunities like this to come!

HFN is SoCal’s fastest growing MMA promotion, hosted by UFC and Pride FC legend Dan Henderson right out of his own gym in the heart of Temecula. The fights were thrilling, the access was unreal, and the community around it was even better. The energy in that room from start to finish was something else.

Honestly a very fun open workouts. Felt like Mike really brought the energy, knowing that these events are to meant to be fun and to promote the fight. He even approached the crowd to talk to fans after his workout.

He hit the pads for a few minutes. Made me question his cardio going into this fight - but I guess he’ll only need a few minutes, anyway. I can’t imagine being hit by someone that big!

99.9% of people are not photogenic when you shoot them fighting. Then there’s Gina Carano. Never thought I would ever see Gina throw a punch. I started really getting into MMA around the time she initially retired. She’s got some clean striking still.

They had open workouts for Rousey vs Carano at the basketball courts in Venice Beach. Got to snap these photos of Ronda, who put on a good workout - showing both her judo and striking.
