Over managing
Saw a great case of overmanaging today in a high school softball game.
Wisconsin D2 #1 Medford was at D2 #3 Mosinee in a conference matchup.
Mosinee got a solo home run in the 3rd and Medford had just tied it in the top of the 5th when the Mosinee coach pulls their senior starter for a freshman.
Medford proceeds to lace 5 straight base hits, including 2 doubles, takes a 5-1 lead, then they bring back in the senior pitcher who gets a strikeout to end the inning.
Final score 5-1
