I was in the process of dropping off some things at Savers while I was moving. I *accidentally* found this lady in the porcelain doll section. She reminds me of a Bru Jne repro. Very fun. She is unpacked so I can have something pleasant to admire admist the chaos. Excited to clean her and have her in my collection.

I rescued this little composition lady from the local store for $30. I've named her Mavis! She's my first composition doll. No stamp on the back of her head so not sure what she is. That's okay with me. I'm much more concerned with her hair. How do you identify hair texture? I'm worried to do anything with it. Plus, she is balding a bit in the back. Any tips are helpful. Perhaps I should just invest in a new wig entirely?
