This was an Ultra-Violence Any% speedrun of E1M1 on Doom (1993). Managed to pull off a 13.65s while using a controller with heavy stick drift Pretty happy with this since I've only been playing for around six months.
growing up religious in the southern US you hear a lot of ghost stories if you believe or not well I did I always believed mainly because of the things this post is about. when I was little at night I would see figures in the hallways like many people so I just thought I was seeing things that weren't there until I saw them a bit closer, one early morning I woke up after sleeping on the couch when my eyes opened the first thing I saw was a similar figure squatting over me on the backrest of the couch. most people say that it was sleep paralysis but I moved my arms and sat up only after I sat up was when that thing went back into the shadows. later that day I told my older brother about the situation and he tried to confirm what it looked like, him ( did it have eyes ) me ( no... but I could feel it looking at me ) him ( did it look like a mannequin kind of ) me ( yeah kind of ) he continued to ask about it's appearance before he told me ( when I was around five or six I was sleeping in mom and dads room I woke and saw like three of those things on the ceiling looking at me with those hollow mannequin eye sockets I sat up and ran to the bathroom while I was running I saw them moving not into the shadows but over mom and dad then I threw up and I haven't seen them since then ) those are the only stories I've heard about those figures but there a few more stories I've heard or experienced such as once I was sitting in the living room watching a movie with my mom and there is this camera with a speaker and sometimes my dad uses it to tell us things but the speaker is pretty bad on average is slightly screechy but at worst it's a glitchy mumble so when me and my mom heard a screechy mumble we didn't think much of it so I went in there room and asked him about it he was confused because he hadn't used it we thought that it was weird but still not much until a few months later same situation me my mom in the living room when we heard a similar sound but this time it sounded like someone talking like my dad but just a bit off it gave me a slightly uncanny feeling and when I asked him again he said he had not used the camera. another one someone told one time while me and my other older brother where talking about our house being haunted and he told me his door was cracked open one time just enough to see the painting in the hallway that led to his room and at one point he looked through the crack and saw in the refection our relative like they where standing in the hallway so he went out and into the living room where the relative was sitting watching tv when asked they hadn't even gotten up. I have a few more little story's but that's enough for today, if anybody knows what some of these things where and if you know how to get rid of them that would be great anyways goodbye for now.
