I officially moved to the Louisville side from Charlestown, IN, and I have zero regrets. I no longer have to fight to get to work on the 2nd Street Bridge or deal with the I-65 shutdown traffic anymore since my new route doesn't require me to go on I-65. Though I don't think I could've chosen a hotter day to move yesterday.

I want to start by saying I'm getting new insurance at the end of July, but I've been off for two weeks now, and I'm mentally in a bad spot. So I'm on my parents' insurance until the end of July. I started Auvelity last year, and it's helped so much after years of horrible depression. I had the energy to work on hobbies and even picked up a few new ones, and I was genuinely happier for the first time in YEARS. Earlier this year, my parents got new insurance, and my psychiatry appointments went from $20 to $300. I saw her every month due to being on a stimulant, but I explained this to her, and we worked something out. Anyway, two weeks ago, I tried to pick up my meds, and the pharmacist told me my insurance doesn't want to cover it anymore and really wasn't given a good reason as to why. They originally said it has to be a 90-day supply, so I talked to my psychiatrist, and she sent in a 90-day supply, just for it to be denied again. I've been getting the runaround from them, and basically, their solution was to get the 5-day supply once a week because it's cheaper... At $200... I tried to have the pharmacy run the discount card, but the pharmacist said it was still $1200. One of the call center representatives told me that I was given a "grace period" before, but they never told me or my pharmacist. I'm kind of at a loss because ever since coming off, all of my joy and motivation are gone. I thought I could just suffer through it, but it's really affecting me right now. I'm back to being super anxious, barely sleeping, irritable, having 0 motivation, and have been overall miserable and really only have negative thoughts. It wasn't perfect before, but I was so much happier than I am now. It feels worse than how I felt before starting Auvelity. I had to stop seeing my psychiatrist since my current one barely covers anything mental health-related, and I have to switch anyway since I'm moving at the end of the month. Is there a way I can get either a 30- or 90-day supply without paying a ton of money somewhat soon? I'm flying to see a friend on Wednesday, and I'm really nervous that I'm going to ruin the trip for myself. And finishing note, fuck you, Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX; I'd rather have no health insurance.
