Hot take: I prefer GT4’s rear camera over GT3’s rear camera.
I prefer GT4’s stiff style camera, it makes it much easier to control the car and it in my opinion gives the game its own personality. I prefer GT4’s camera specifically over the later GTs too even though those too caught up with the stiff camera simply because it’s positioned closer to the car there than in GT5P onwards. While I can definitely see why the majority prefers GT3’s camera, for me it felt too loose, and it always made me misunderstand the car’s behavior, causing me to spin out.
