Just started playing Quacks. Anyone else love this game?

We’ve recently started playing Quacks, and we’re really enjoying it!
We’re still a bit slow, with tonight’s game taking about 80 minutes. The rat tails make a huge difference, and that 6-value pumpkin is awesome!
The only slightly annoying thing is that we keep pulling loose threads from the bag along with the tokens.
Overall, such a fun and relaxing game. Definitely one we’d recommend!

Weekend Ark Nova night: 30–28, almost exactly 2 hours, and another close game

Still learning and definitely could’ve played better, but we had a great time. Getting a little more comfortable with the game each time we play.

Still learning Ark Nova, probably getting some rules wrong, but having a great time

We’ve been playing Ark Nova for a few months, but since each game takes quite a while, we haven’t actually played that many games yet. So we’re still learning and still check the rulebook pretty often. Not even sure we got every rule right, but we had a lot of fun.
This one ended 26–23, so it was pretty close.
Any tips for making the game a bit faster or playing more efficiently?
And ignore the 4h 30m total time. We got hungry, paused the game, and went out for lunch for over two hours.

Still learning Wingspan. Any suggestions or mistakes you notice?

Hi! We’re still learning Wingspan and just finished this 2 player game (78 to 69).

We took a few photos of the final boards and would love any feedback. If you notice any rules mistakes or have strategy tips for beginners, we’d really appreciate it.

One small note: we accidentally picked the red player in the timer app for the green token player. The blue token player matches the blue timer correctly.

Thanks! We’re having a lot of fun with the game and just want to keep improving.

Reef Dweller was much better than I expected

Just finished a 2-player game of Ark Nova, and Reef Dweller ended up being a lot more useful than I expected.
I was stuck with only 1 association worker for quite a while, so my conservation progress felt pretty slow early on. Humphead Wrasse ended up helping me recover though. The reef synergy helped my whole zoo engine finally start coming together.
The game stayed very close the entire time. My opponent made a couple mistakes near the end, and that probably gave me the chance to narrowly win. Final crossing ended 25 to 9.
We played for around 2 hours, but it went by quickly. Really fun weekend game night.
