Hoping to find a store…

I was sent to a store in Pasadena no more than 4 years ago, and I am dying to remember their name!

It was a cool, weird garden type store - maybe it had many different areas with product - inside a house, outside around the house… I want to say they were Oaxacan, and made these amazing terra cotta planters with faces on them in a few different sizes.

I bought 2, and one just broke. I think they are so weird and so awesome and I love planting them!

Barn Rats!

I really want to foster the concept of being a barn rat at my place, and I have a few teens that would really do well with more exposure to the horses.

I want to make it a structured experience. Maybe 3 hours on a Saturday, with a list of chores to do. I’d like a commitment of at least 2 weeks - one month at a time.

I know things have changed since I was a barn rat myself, 30 years ago. What am I forgetting to consider while designing this program?
