Getting closer to a fully kitted shreadpacker

The bike itself can get fun and rowdy, but i also want it to bike pack with just got the SanUtil bags. I’ll get them loaded and ridden soon to see how they sit. The included Velcro doesn’t really cut it for holding that well. For some reason i have a bunch of Bob trailer rubber straps/hooks. Put a couple together and it’s easier to deal with.

Nothing epic, just a short weekend trip from home.

Experimenting with bags and gear placement, really. I need better/more suitable dry bags for the fork mounts. Also, need actual fork mounts. The topeak are only ok. Both these bikes will probably get rear racks as well. Wife’s bike is just too small for any effective frame bag, and that saddle bag is annoying.

Pretty sure this is it.

Weird bike security. Works every time. Tall bikes, long bikes, electric bikes, they just confuse the normies.

Sub24 trip in Minnesota.

Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend ride. Rode from Northfield to Sakatah State Park. Mostly gravel on the way down, with some gorgeous sections along Ivanhoe Road. We didn’t loop it, just out/back because it was such a nice ride.

Coffee tour!

Coffee ride #2 down. Successful yet again! Despite being rained on. Thank goodness for s mutual aid tent set up Back Story Coffee. Absolutely wired by stop number 4! That was saved by possibly the best carne asada burrito I’ve ever had. Espresso sampled : @backstorycoffee
@razavabreadco
@powwowgroundscoffee (closed though. Have to come back)
@fawkesalleycoffee
@discodeathrecords
@wildflyercoffee

All really good coffee, but Disco Death has the best espresso imo. #coffeeride #coffeecommitment #bicycle

Sweet little Sunday ride

It was one of those perfect idyllic afternoon rides that just sticks in the brain as a perfect day in the bike.

Just a commute home, taking the long way. The dirt was that special kind of tacky that just didn’t let go. T’was great! Love spring riding season.
