Teachers with dyslexia?

I'm seeking advice from teachers with dyslexia. How do you work with, not against your dyslexia in an educational setting?

I'm currently in an alternative path to teaching certification for early childhood education. I will be teaching grade 1. I have a mentor teacher who I will work with this year, and I am a bit concerned about my dyslexia potentially getting in the way of things. My main issues are spelling and directional stuff.

Pencil grips for adults

I have an alternative pencil grip and dysgraphia. As a child I received early intervention and OT, but I would always revert to what felt comfortable.

I am currently in a teaching program and have been told I must demonstrate a tripod grip to students.

My pencil grip does not hurt me and I have no desire to permanently change it, but I know I will not be able to demonstrate tripod without something that forces my hand. What grip/ tool would you recommend for an adult?

Advice on Luggage During Crowding Potential times

I travel on Amtrak and then ride the Metra out of Chicago union station to get to my final destination. Previously I have boarded Metra late night and early weekend mornings so my suitcase and 2 backpacks have not been an issue. I am planning my next trip and it looks like I will be boarding at a busier train time. Will my luggage be an issue?

Previously I have just had my suitcase on the ground next to me with one backpack on it and my other backpack in the seat next to me or on my lap. Are busier train times such as 3:55 pm on a Friday or early Monday morning crowded enough strangers sit together?

First time dyeing my hair!

My hair is naturally medium to dark brown I used L'Oreal Paris Excellence 6R. Super happy with how it turned out! My hair still feels really soft and the color is a subtle change but really nice, I love the auburn.
