I am writing a fictional book set before and after the Nakba in the village of Ayn Ghazal. I'd like to ask if there are any people here whose family is from Ayn Ghazal or any of the neighbouring villages and if you have any stories, pictures or other information about life in the village before the Nakba, and what happened during and after 1948. I have already read the general sources and would like to speak to someone who maybe has some details not mentioned there. Also, if there are any books or articles that group together testimonies from the Haifa region and what happened during the Nakba I'd love to know the titles of those too. I have read general books and some memoirs but they focus on other areas of Palestine.

I've been looking for a writing community for a long time now but I've been failing miserably. I'm working on my first novel right now (second attempt at finishing one) and would love to connect with other writers, not necessarily for in-depth critique but discussions pertaining to our work, the craft of writing and maybe some activities like writing sprints. I'm a Muslim woman and my work is historical fiction leaning literary (with a bit of magical realism), it's a novel set in Palestine which deals with themes such as memory, legacy and the consequences of the Nakba of 1948. I'm not particularly interested in connecting only with Muslim and or Arab writers, but I've found that it's mostly those who are interested in this kind of work. If you're not any of these things however, feel free to message me anyways and tell me about what you're working on and how we could proceed.

I'm not the best at organising things so I don't know if I would like to create a writing group per se, but maybe join an existing one that would be open to having me. Thank you for reading.

I'm looking for a fabric that is popular in the Caucasus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc but none of the sellers I've found ship to Europe. It's a floral printed viscose/cupro/tencel (depending on the store) with a darker background either black or brown, and spaced out florals, I've searched everywhere but I'm not sure where I can find it. Some of the sellers state that their suppliers are in Turkey, China and the UAE if that helps. And I'm not looking to buy wholesale.
