Hi everyone! I'm a young (23M) aspiring writer with lots of big ideas and no people to really share them with. I've been creating a universe where all kinds of stories can fit in (ranges from fantasy to scifi in the timeline, no genres particularly off limits yet), and I'm looking for a few friends to join in and write with me. I really want to turn this into a shared universe where we all get together and make ideas and change how the world works! Mostly though, I just want people who can get invested in this universe and be as excited about it as I am :D because that kinda energy keeps me writing.

I'm a writer that hasn't written in a while and I've noticed it's mostly due to my inability to set scheduled time for writing. I've heard people say things like "if there's something you'd like to do more often set aside time to yourself to do that" but I just really struggle to do that, however I have also realized that I prioritize things that are scheduled and involve people I like and am excited to be around (like DND for example) so I'm wondering if anyone know about a group of writers that set aside 1-2 hours a week to get together and write? Or if someone would be interested in starting a group like that?

I love nothing more than building new worlds, breaking stories apart, finding plot twists that hit like a truck. It the most fun thing I know.

I made a daily writing competition for flash fiction (~250) words, because the monthly pay-to-submit things just felt like I was writing into empty space.
My goal was to get people to write to a new creative writing prompt every day, and to give each other feedback on those stories.
Right now we’re averaging between 6-9 stories per day, and I am personally writing critiques/feedback for every story each day.

It gives you writing exercises like copywork, dialogue, show-don’t-tell, sentence rhythm, sensory detail, and scene goals. You can upload your own .epub book files to use for the copywork exercise.
After you write, it analyzes patterns your writing.
The exercises update based on the results of your previous writing, so your next session forces you to practice areas where you’re weak in.

Greetings dear writers, I'm looking for fellow writing friends that would love to share their ideas on their stories or talk about their passion for writing or possibly join my small writing group where we can talk about writing, share inspiration and give motivition, exchange feedback, give support to each other, etc.
A little about me: Currently working on two writing passion projects, one short Western Horror slasher story (which is on hiatus) and one psychological literary low fantasy novel. The latter is my main project I'm currently working on at the moment and have been working on it for about five months (drafting and have only reached 16k words) but have been plotting it for years. I basically write dark/low fantasy (or anything fantasy really), horror, gothic and anything with literary realism. My inspiration comes from everywhere tbh, but mainly through music (heavily influenced by rock, metal, classicals, dark pop and more), cinema and books that I read.
I'm looking for people that are willing to meet online via Discord on a weekly basis at least. (I have a discord so I'll add you to my server, not really common with it but i'll get there). If you have better alternatives please feel free to reach out.
Any level of writing experience is welcome so dm me. I would say I have some experience in writing such as formatting as well as editing/proofreading but that was just my own work lol. The maximum number of people in my group is preferrably less than 20 people. Anyone, whether M or F, 18+ is welcome to join (no minors, my work is explicitly for 18+ individuals).

I saw another post about their discord community on here as well so I figured It was okay on here If I'm wrong I'll be happy to take this down since I'm still learning the rules I've gone over the rules but still not a hundred percent sure on everything due to being new.
Anyway I have a discord community called the Writer'sClub It's For writers of all skill level I'm currently building a group of specialist people who specialize in certain areas of writing No this is not mean that they have a degree in writing but these are people who have written long enough to be really good in one area of writing.
The goal is to bring writers readers together to help educate and to provide resources to those who may struggle in finding them or even attaining them for people like me who add struggle with this for most of her life due to the fact of being introverted and not really knowing what is a good resource and what isn't over time I have been able to attain some books However I haven't always been this lucky and now I want to help people who are in the position that I used to be and help them attain this information through mentorship or shared resources.
This includes specialists that specialize in one area of writing and beta readers who are willing to volunteer their time freely to Read through your works and give you feedback to help you improve your craft. Not only that but my community has also partnered with other writing communities and are willing to put out more partnerships with other writing communities to create a multi writing hub that can interconnect and bring resources from all areas of discord and allow people to expand their knowledge in ways through the communities that are willing to work together in order to help each other and help those less fortunate than ourselves We are looking for people who are interested in writing or even if you are a reader who would like to learn about the writing process or even possibly become a beta reader In order to help others all we ask is that those who join are respectful and willing to take the responsibility of mentorship seriously.

Writer's Room is a Discord community for writers, readers and artists. The community is about 150 members with a core active of 30-35 so it still feels intimate and you can get to know people. We have writers from brand new folks who've only just started writing to published authors already.
And most importantly we have a very active and engaged core who chat and get to know each other all day - supporting each other's projects and making real friends. If you want to make friends whilst also working on your creativity then we are the right place to do it!
