I don't know if I should drop out of school or not

I'm in grade 10, and recently I've been having thoughts about dropping out of school when I'm 16. I feel like it's a stupid idea, but it also feels like a stupid idea to stay in school. If I were to drop out, I would completely put all my heart into writing in the hope it becomes a career, while doing a side job that just about makes enough for me to manage. I know that chances are low, but I don't want to stay in school for the rest of high school and go to university.

And honestly, I've been doubting myself about my ability to do the work. I'm in mathematics 10-C, English 10-1, Social studies 10-1, Science 10, Art, gym, foods, and music at the grade 10 level. I'm smart, athletic, and everyone believes I can do the work, but I have doubts. In math class today, I genuinely felt so out of it and even doing 6-10 pages of math for homework in one night (which would've been EASY for me 1-2 years ago) felt overwhelming.

It's the beginning of the second week of school, and it already feels hard. Honestly, I only feel confident in ELA, even though I'm good at the other subjects. It might be because of mental health struggles that I have that might be causing that feeling, and if that's the case, I know I won't be able to do it. The work is already a lot and fast paced, and it's supposed to get even harder, faster, and a lot more of it.

I never thought I would be saying this, but I honestly don't know if I should drop out in grade 11 and pursue writing and hope for the best, or stay in school and feel miserable.

Should I pause from writing and start reading for a bit, or keep writing?

I'm a 15 year old writer. I've been told by many people that I'm talented, and I honestly think I am. I used to write short stories full of symbolism, emotion, and decent grammar in one night.

However, I've recently hit a point where I'm not writing as much. I still sometimes write in class if I'm bored, but I don't really do it in my free time as much anymore.

So I was wondering if I should start reading books and put writing aside for the time being. I don't read a lot, but I've heard it can help with ideas and building skill. Because I'm not writing as often, I'm thinking now is a good time to start reading, but idk if I should. What are your thoughts?

Looking for a writing partner/community

Hi, I'm a teenage M writer. I'm looking for a writing partner or a writing community. I'm struggling a bit with motivation right now, and I feel like this could help me. Plus, we could review/help with each other's work, and writing with someone is WAY less boring.

Genres: Any! Bonus points for thriller/mystery, literary fiction, and psychological thriller.

Goals/expectations/commitments: My current goals are to become a good writer so I can go into a creative writing course for university and potentially get published. You can have whatever writing goals you want. For commitments, I guess chat about our writing/work on it a couple - a few times a week. My expectations are that you won't randomly ghost me. If you are busy/no longer interested, please tell me.

Skill level/experience: I'm open to kinda anything. I would like it if you knew the basics for writing a story, though.

Meeting place: Discord.

Max size: 1-2 for writing partners. 100 for a community.

Also, I'm hoping that we could also become friends too. I'm fine with any age, but I would prefer someone around mine.
