Nimble + Scarlet Heroes viable?
Hello! Im curious to hear some perspectives on combining Nimble 5e (NOT the full nimble system, just the 5e hack) with Scarlet Heroes (damage conversion, fray dice) to play published 5e adventures.
I don’t want to do the whole Nimble system because I want to play with 5e classes, specifically the Laserllama homebrew classes but I like the idea of using Nimble to help streamline solo combat.
I’ve tried to run whole parties but found it too much to keep track of so I like the philosophy of Scarlet heroes to simplify the power scaling of a single PC against a party’s worth of enemies.
So what do you think? Do the exploding crits from Nimble mesh well with Scarlet Heroes damage conversion? Does using the block action reduce damage before or after the conversion?
