Doughnut Vault: best old fashioned in the city, horchata edition
It is so perfectly crispy on the outside, I've not had a better one yet. My only wish is they do a lemon pistachio like Stan's had when they first opened (Julio if you see this, hi :D)

not too thick crispy bread, little hint of a jalapeno kick...my only regret is having to eat it fast so I could catch the bus home
the sauce was so good
wicker park arts fest had a deal $13/5 so...gonna be eating a pile of these lol. my favorite by far is the giard.
as it says.... I'm having a strong craving for some delicious black bean sauce noodles, but tragically I both hate cooking and am generally vegetarian (don't ask don't tell me on broths). Any places in the nw burbs/city you'd recommend for this?
I've already looked at Chef Ping and MingHin...it doesn't seem to be that widespread an item??
on recommendation I got the Greek yogurt and strawberry nondairy. I normally hate sorbet but this was so good and creamy.... I'm gonna have to go back.
this morning I took a suburban Pace bus that, according to the Google maps tracking, had already passed me. it did say Scheduled the whole time so I knew it wasn't the truly live route, but also the little bus icon kept moving so ???
I'm also confused why it does track for some buses on that route but not others.
any light on why it's like this would be great! planning transit from the suburbs is already difficult 😅
yeah I know technically not the CTA but hey P:
I don't know what "forced rhubarb" means but it was damn good too lol. This is definitely my favorite season to eat there.
