i think i accidentally hit a jinn...
or am i just overthinking?... today while cleaning the kitchen, i found this weird worm-like creature on the tiled/cabinet area. there was literally nothing around where it could've been hiding, so i tried to get it onto a dustpan and throw it outside bcz i didn't wanna kill it. while i was trying to get it with the broom, i accidentally hit it a few times and it looked a bit hurt, then suddenly... it just vanished in front of my eyes, literally VANISHED like i genuinely couldn't see where it went. my mum said it probably went into some corner or a hole but there wasn't a hole or corner, it was literally on a flat surface and this happened exactly around 12am (apparently my life needed a little horror movie moment lol) now i'm kinda freaking myself out bcz my first thought was "what if that was a jinn??" i've heard stories about jinn being less understanding and assumes humans as their enemies even when we don't intentionally hurt them, and now i'm scared that i accidentally hit one several times and somehow offended it?? ik this probably sounds ridiculous but my instinct is genuinely making me uneasy rn has anyone experienced something similar or can someone reassure me from their perspective? like is there actually anything to worry about or am i just letting my brain run wild...
