I've been struggling with my ED (anorexia nervosa) since I was 13 (22 years old now) and I've more or less maintained the same weight I was when I was 13 years old (>!83!<lbs or >!38!<kg) but I can't help but stress about the fact that my body looks different. I know that as you get older, especially as a woman, you tend to fill out in certain areas but I don't understand how I can be the same weight as before yet I look heavier than the number on the scale. My thighs are bigger than before and I have a bit of a tummy. How does that even work? Is this normal?
This has been eating me up for a while and it's tempting me to strive for a lower weight but I don't want to relapse.
