I grew up in NY and got used to the deli / bodega on every corner where you could go in for a cheap no-frills sandwich. That has been ASTONISHINGLY hard to find in DC.
After many years of trying everywhere, I recently went to Sunrise Deli on L Street which perfectly met this desire! I seriously recommend folks give it a try. Anyone have any other secrets spots?
We stopped in Georgetown today for some ice cream and we saw a lone US Marshal hanging out on Wisconsin. I want to say thank you for making DC just a little bit better today.
You went (very far) out of your way to help two people struggling with the Bus. There was a handicapped (possibly homeless) woman making a lot of noise with lots of people just walking by and ignoring her. Turns out she was just trying to hail the bus, you not only helped her do that but carried some of her belongings onto the bus and made sure she was situated before heading out. On your way off the bus you held the bus for another man sprinting up the street. You helped take a situation that easily could have escalated and turned it into something lovely.
You were a true model for what it means to serve and I applaud you.
I have to say I initially judged the hell out of you. I assumed you were part of the usual national guard ridiculousness and for that I apologize. It made me unreasonably happy to see a uniformed officer helping some of DC’s most vulnerable without any hesitation or judgement and a few laughs along the way. Thank you what you do and keep it going!!

I’ve responded to a few threads lately about the charging pad.
My opinion: It sucks and you are better off without it.
I removed it and ordered Volvo Part Number 31469104 which is the same rubber mat for the center console without the raised area for the charger. This got me some space back and made the center console much more useful.

I’m looking for advice on how to maintain the panel gaps while I paint these doors. Unfortunately I do not have an option to spray these so I will be rolling on primer and then Benjamin Moor Advance.
Any and all advice is welcome!

I leaned on the car and some sunscreen rubbed off and dried. Any good tips to get this off a piano black exterior trim panel?
Just finished up a car wash and even spot cleaned this piece of trim with Dawn.
Edit: this has happened to me on the interior before and it always came off with warm water
