Thanks for all the helpful advice and feedback in my post about how to decide on who to keep and who to sell. I did end up putting the horses from the last post up for sale. Rio sold relatively quickly, and Fighter & Survivor sold today. Actually feeling bummed to lose that pair - kind of surprised to feel this way! But that's how things go sometimes I guess.

Photos are of some current sale horses and Blue Zeus, who I think I'll be keeping.

I need to clear out some horses - I have too many models, am limited on space, and just would like to have a bit less than I currently do.

The problem is deciding on who to sell and who to keep. As I'm pulling out models to photograph for sales, I've rediscovered an affinity for them, which...kinda defeats the entire purpose 😭

How do you folks go about deciding on which models to sell and keep?

Blaire and Joss came home from the doll hospital today. It was my first time sending anyone off and it was a good experience overall. The turnaround time was pretty fast; about a week after they arrived at the hospital, they were ready to go home. They did have some fingerprint sized powdery spots near their outer elbows - it came off easily with a damp cloth.

Unfortunately right after taking the photo of them standing, Blaire face-planted onto our hard floors 😭 Luckily she came away mostly unscathed, with the exception of a barely noticeable, tiny nose shine. Figures - I had her head replaced 🙃

Since there's been some discussion recently on how dapples appear with gloss, I thought I'd share this model. Apologies for the poor lighting; I tried my best 😅

"Letting Go" from Peter Stone. I'm a huge glossy fan but if I could go back in time, I probably would not have chosen to add gloss - I really like how the shading especially looks on the matte version (pictured in the last photo).

Still love my golden boy though 💛
