It's the little things

I'm currently snuggled in bed with the AC on and door closed. In the next room I can hear my husband reading to our 1 year old. In a bit I'm sure I'll hear him singing along with the wiggles. I just love how all these little things show I picked a good guy.

Laundromat Help

Hello love laundry folks! I absolutely love this sub and the people and I apologize in advance if this situation has already been posed.

Last year, my husband and I had to move into an apartment with no in-unit washer or dryer. Luckily, my husband is a rockstar and will go to the laundromat and do all of it by himself, which is especially helpful as we have a 1 year old and another on the way.

Anyway, our routine right now is all of our loads on the hottest setting in the wash, a detergent I make on my own, and downy rinse and refresh. It's getting to be too much to do my own detergent so my question is, what is the best products/routine for a laundromat user? I'm looking for effective but not overly complicated and we live in the US if that matters for product recs. Thanks in advance!
