I want some summer dresses for work and these ones look like they fit professional settings. I’ve checked stores around me where the smallest size they have still seems longer and looks awkward. Wondering if any brands do smaller length wise too.
Never thought I’d be at this stage in my career but here I’m in a big international company with great benefits. The bad side? I’m not sure I fit.
I know I have self esteem issues to deal with (tried therapy) but even the office dynamics is totally off. I feel like a background character unable to actively participate and the people I am with don’t make it easy. There has been times when some don’t even come to me to talk about important recommendations from donors/management on projects that (they know) I’m in charge. The latest one I’m pissed off is on a project two different departments are working on and they decide to arrange a meeting to update on work and I’m not even included in the meeting even though I’m the person who’s been working like 90% from my department. Another colleague forwarded the meeting to me and my instinct right now is not to attend. idk what “update” they will give from our side. Perhaps that would make them see that I exist and contribute to work.
But perhaps there’s a better way to deal with this and the whole trying to fit in situation.
Appreciate any advice.
I’m very petite and now working in a corporate environment and I have no idea what to wear (that I’d find in my size) and where to buy. I also hate the formal suits look on me as it looks like a kid playing adult. I still want to look elegant and put together.
Physical stores are of no use as I don’t really find anything my size so any suggestions for online stores and outfit recommendations would be really helpful.
