Hi. I was on a thread that required flair and instructed me to hit the three dots at the top for flair but there was no flair option…so I couldn’t post. What is up with that? Can anyone tell me how to add flair when there is no flair option. Also , I’m not 100% clear about the point of clue.
I’m an empath and am curious to hear how other empaths experience this.
Sometimes I don’t get ambushed by the feelings of strangers for long periods of time, but I have gone through periods when I have been super sensitive to the emotions of others and I was so upset by some of the stuff I was picking up from others that it made me really depressed. I’m generally a very happy person.
I remember going to a comedy club with a friend on Valentine’s Day and I could just feel loneliness and desperation entering my soul like arrows.
Once I was in a restaurant and a young couple were playing pool there. I could feel how anxious he was for her to like him.
Once I dated a widower and I took in his grief. It was horrible. I had to push it away because it had me in bed, sobbing and I couldn’t explain why I was so sad. This was before I learned I was an empath.
Just to clarify, these were not my emotions. A friend told me how to use imagery to keep out the emotions of others and it helped a great deal.
This is my situation. What has it been like for you?
I have a 9 year old male Bombay. I got him from a breeder in Pennsylvania. He is gorgeous and smart and silly. He is extremely outgoing and comes to the door when the doorbell rings.
He is really docile as a rule and lets us cut his claws without biting.
The problem comes at night for the most part. He gets very frisky and attacks our feet ankles and hands. It is not constant, but it is very annoying when he starts up and I have never been able to break the habit. I have to spray him with water to get him to stop it and I hate that.
Any thoughts? I play with him with the only toy he shows interest in, which is a feather teaser. He is VERY particular about the way he wants me to move it and gets bored very easily.
I need assistance working on legislation to stop people from breeding these dogs and require proper fencing, leashes, and muzzles to protect the public. The bill would also require an insurance policy for each dog, including puppies, that would cover costs for any damage to any human or animal that it might attack. It would levy fines for dog bites which would range from $5k for a minor bite to $50k for more serious bites in addition to fines for the dog being off leash, unmuzzled unneutered or uninsured. Fines for breeding a dog and seizure of the dog for immediate sterilization and euthanasia of litter. No dog released from shelter before proof that insurance policy is in place.
