Pics of authentic road signs needed

Tashi delek!

My colleague and I are in the final stages of publishing a Tibetan language learning textbook, and we're trying to fill in a few remaining authentic images to support our learning activities.

We are currently in need of some simple signs written in Tibetan for beginning learners who are learning to read the alphabet (for example, road signs, restaurant or café signs, storefront signs). We have been given a few pictures but they are blurry and/or have Chinese writing that is more prominent than the actual Tibetan script (like the picture attached to this post).

If you are in Tibet and can send us a photo (or if you already have a photo) that you'd be willing to let us publish in the textbook, we would be incredibly grateful and we would happily credit your contribution in the photo credits section of the book.

If you're interested in helping, please reply here or send me a DM and I can provide you more information about our project!

Needle organizer help

I got a pattern off Etsy to make a needle organizer for my circulars. I mod-ed it to create “pockets” for my interchangeable needle tips. I tried to mimic the size of the “pockets” on the package they came in, but I must have made them a tad too wide, because my needles keep slipping out. Any suggestions for how to fix it? I’ve considered just stuffing in a strip of felt to make the pocket a little tighter.

While watching the show, we both kept wishing our town had an old fashioned Italian joint like Vesuvius. I eventually bought the Sopranos cookbook so we could make some of the meals mentioned ourselves! However I kind of wish that we had catalogued what meals were mentioned in each episode as we watched, because the cookbook doesn’t give this info at all! Does anyone know if there are any catalogued food lists of the show out there? (I didn’t find anything in my initial search.)

BTW, if you are thinking of buying the cookbook, know: 1. Most recipes don’t include any pictures of the dish (huge pet peeve for me! 2. Recipes don’t have any background info at all…neither about history/significance of the dish in Italy/Italian culture nor where it appears in the show. But my biggest complaint: it has a recipe for “Janice’s Vegetarian Baked Ziti” but not “Karen’s Baked Ziti”.
