WYR live your life again from age 5 or be given all the knowledge you will ever gain by age 95?

Choice 1: You go back to age 5 with all the knowledge you have now. You have 1 week to remember big events and study history before you go. Everyone in your life will know you are making the decision to go back and will be left without you in the current timeline.

Choice 2: You are given all the knowledge you would gain by age 95. You have a week to study everything about the future outside of your personal experiences to that point. Only you will be able to process this knowledge. Nobody will believe you if you talk about what will happen in the future.

Bellied Drainage line.

I’ll try to be as concise a possible here.

My home does not have line clean outs. We had a back up issue in our master bathroom shower.

The plumber snaked and sent a camera through the roof vent and our laundry room drainage and found a 15ft section of sagging drainage line.

The line is under ground in the center of our pier and beam house.

Because the lines are old he gave us 3 quotes.

All involve tunneling under for access.

  1. Full system replacement: $65k ($45 if we scheduled that week… okay dude.)

  2. Just replacing the problem section and all past it: $30k

  3. Just replacing the 1 section: $20k

I asked if they could go through the floor and replace the 1 section, because I could handle the floor patching. That was not an option through them.

My question now is, Can you take a bellied pipe that is buried under ground and rotate it so the bend isn’t downward?

I know this sounds cheap (because I’m poor) or stupid (I just might be) but is this a viable option?

Thank you for your time.
