Kenmore/LG Fridge not cooling. Possible leak. Repair or replace?

I have a 12yo kenmore elite fridge with a bottom freezer. It started cooling poorly. I cleared out the coil in the back which was packed with dust (it's been cleaned probably 5 years back). Compressor is warm and making noise, fan is running, but it's not cooling down. Further inspection of the rear of the fridge there may be a corroded pipe on the right side of the compressor at the bottom of the loop. See pics.

The fridge is definitely out of warranty. Is it worth trying to get a service out to repair, or is this a replace?

Edit: few more details. The condenser coil (rear) is not warm. The expansion tank looking thing above the compressor was cold. No LEDs on the PCB. Hit test mode, could hear fans running, temp of air from the rear is 40f or so. Compressor got louder and louder and stopped with 6 led blinks (current trip) while in test mode.

Dishwasher recommendations other than Bosch and KitchenAid

Seems like Bosch and KitchenAid are 2 brands constantly recommended, and with Memorial Day sales coming up i'm looking to replace my 12 yo Kenmore Elite (Whirpool) dishwasher. Looking to spend ~$1000-$1500 USD

Primary Bosch complains about the new models are - cheaper materials, failing and expensive to replace Zeolite unit, and complains about rack design, and WIFI controls.

KitchenAid seems to be a good alternative to Bosch with widely available inexpensive parts, good performance and rack design, but all models seem to have the new "Self-Cleaning Filtration" which seems to be prone to failure and requires pulling the washer out to replace.

Other Whirlpool brands that have a regular filter seem to be poorly rated.

What about other brands? Miele is good, but expensive and also suffers from rack design?

Samsung seems to be universally disliked.

GE and Frigidaire are poorly rated.

What about LG?

Meraki CMNA EOL - what are you replacing with?

Wondering what everyone is replacing their home Meraki gear with now that CMNA renewals were killed off?

Switches - Cloud or Local?

I picked up a Aruba 1960 switch to see how I like it, with intent to replace some Meraki switches (and ultimately the Meraki MX with TBD device). I didn't realize that the local and cloud modes were completely separate, and there seems to be a distinct lack of features in both.

Cloud mode

  • Shows devices and mac addresses connected to the switch, as well as throughput details
  • doesn't fully support ACLs, allowing only l2 isolation or allowing access to specific ips without a source
  • doesn't have any logging, and visibility is pretty limited otherwise
  • lack of settings

Local Mode

  • Has logging, snmp, full ACL support, and a lot of expected settings.
  • doesn't have any client information

Is that accurate? I was hoping to get a Meraki-like client list experience with typical switch settings and was considering the instant on gateway, but the lack of cloud features are bothersome. What is everyone else doing - cloud or local?
