I just had to vent this out some where lol. I don’t normally post things like this but I truly wanted to see what everyone else is thinking about this topic at hand.

For context on my end, Widowmaker is my most played DPS and potentially my post played character still. I know a lot of people were not happy with her first mythic, but I was blown away with happiness. The witchy theme and the colors I think are so stunning, along with her gun all steampunked out! I know not everything is for everyone and same can be said for Genji’s first mythic. A lot of people had issues with it, but a lot enjoyed it. I understand it’ll always be the same with anything else, no matter what not everyone will be pleased.

WITH THAT SAID…….

I have not been fully against characters getting second rounds of mythics…I guess? It was something I think a lot of us were not expecting the team to do. The idea of different themes being had for the characters is cool, because there could be something for everyone on their mains. BUT WTF?? The season where someone received a redo mythic AND a character got their first one….I could slightly tolerate but still thought it was a bold move to even be creating redos when so many characters need their FIRST ONES.

BUT NOW!! A SEASON WITH TWO REDO SKINS??? That’s just so ridiculous. Easily could have took time to make a mythic for any other character on the roster to pair with Genji’s. Or…. MAYBE just make two entirely new ones!?!

I understand if the 2nd Widow or Genji mythics were released at other times away from each other, but to deliberately put them on a season together is such a slap in the face to the community.

Now I will say, I like both these skins! I think Genji’s is an insane mythic that he deserved the first time. I think Widows is pretty…but it’s an odd follow up to Genji’s no doubt and is lazier design wise 100%.

No matter what characters that currently lack mythics, DESERVE THEM. It’s so lame to leave out massive parts of the community so consistently lately :(

TLDR; It’s INSANE the devs are dropping TWO mythics for characters that already have them. When so many characters need myths too!! ALSO this post got taken down from main sub LOL
