Matsuda M5006 - tint suggestions

Added these lovely Matsudas to my collection for use as weekend sunglasses. I'm looking at an 85% tint because it is bright and sunny all the year round here.

Would the Zeiss burgundy work with these palladium white frames or should I pick another colour? (My skin tone is best described as a warm brown)

I can choose tints offered by Zeiss, Hoya and Essilor.

I used to have the Millican Smith 25L roll top and loved it to death. However, I end up losing it around the time the company went under.

They seem to be back now and making backpacks again.

I just wanted to know if the backpacks they sell now have retained their previous excellent quality or if their quality has gone down.

Matsuda M3153 with Zeiss Burgundy 90-40 tint

These were my favourite pair of sunglasses until the Akoni Skyracer captivated me. They’re beautifully crafted and the stained glass lacquering on the side shields is stunning.

However, as I don’t like leaving things sitting around unused, I decided to gift these to my optically gifted partner to assuage my guilt.

She chose the tint and I’m really stoked with how these have come out. I used to wear them with the Zeiss magma orange as they matched the side shields, but now think I should have gone with these instead as they look amazing and would have helped better in bright sunlight. The tint also adds a really pleasant hue to the world. These are stock plano lenses but I did push for duravision gold as I find they make lenses ridiculously easy to clean.

I just wish I could have had these polarized but the feature wasn’t available for this tint.

Please forgive the poor photography. I’m not very good with composition.
