Submission for Laika's Wildwood Art Contest!

Finished this in the nick of time and forgot that I wanted to share it on Jazza's subreddit! Without his video about the contest I would not have known about it, nor have the 24 hours to complete this 😭.

Imagined myself a newcomer, a Wildwood traveller ready to make a career for myself in Southwood! And decided on an animal character since there were so many in the Southwood faction video clip.

(The background of the first image is simply a blurred version of the set - not painted by me. Goodness knows I wouldn't have finished in time)

Is there a market for digital paintings of pets?

I'm an artist with experience painting pet portraits traditionally with oil on canvas, but due to some recent life plans, I'm thinking of switching to digital paintings.

Is that something pet lovers and parents would be interested in? Deliverable would be the file and a png, but I have no idea what people would expect price wise.

Any advice on how to go about it? I'd love to hear your experiences and takes on pricing and the market. Thank you in advance to anyone who replies!

Is there any success in pet portraits in San Jose?

I've done a few pet portrait paintings in Texas, but I'm moving to San José pretty soon. Is there any interest amongst pet parents for paintings of their pets? Any information or tips about that market would be helpful!

Usually painted on 10" x 10" canvases for $250.

If a color-blind person had their vision magically "restored" one day, they'd probably be so much better than the average person at detecting shifts in hue and value.

Love the pet community and love painting pets!

I moved this year from Florida, and love seeing all the pets on my walks! Maybe it was my old neighborhood, but there's definitely an increase in pets I interact with now that I'm in Austin!

I love painting pet portraits in oil, so if you'd love to memorialize your pet in art, let me know and we can work something out!

[Art] [OC] [Comm] Rayne, Vengeful Rogue of Arabia

A rogue battling with her thirst for vengeance and her own morality.
Her family slain by the infamous criminal Arkan, Rayne grew up an orphan on the streets of the port city Arabia. Survival was the theme of her childhood, her natural stealth making her the perfect petty thief.

But when fate knocked at the trapdoor of her rooftop abode, so too did her traumatic past. It is up to her to decide if she's willing to sacrifice everything to bring justice to her murdered kin.

Commissions are open if you're interested in having a character drawn! More info in the comments.

Underrated Colin Morgan scene

What keeps me coming back to Merlin (besides it being a good and nostalgic show lol) is the >!one scene where he pretends to be the dolma.!< Literally one of the best scenes of the show.
Yes merthur is amusing as all else to watch but I needed more of >!Merlin being a prissy witch lmao!<
