It will always be so beautiful yet so bittersweet to me that Asahi and Shio are capable of being kind to others despite the circumstances of their origins.
So often in fiction and life, we see people using trauma or tragic origins to justify harm and exploitation of others, yet these siblings manage to flip the script somehow.
Granted, they also have their own baggage. Parentification of children is no joke.
I know Satou gets special treatment, but just look at Shio’s blank expression in the last image. She locked in.
I’m wondering if supportive head pats are just the Kobe family’s forbidden technique at this point…
