I’ve finally acquired my final grail for now. My top 4 were Oda sig, OG G5, Roger, and Gold Luffy. I think I’ll be adding the Luffy crew rare to the list now. What’s your holy grail or your top chases?
Just wanted to make a post because there’s an eBay auction of a raw English gold luffy SP already at $7,445. The listing does not say eBay Guarantee so someone genuinely might get fried here. If you’ve seen the card in person, it’s really easy at first glance to see it’s off, but it’s impressive how good the fakes have gotten, especially with the detail of the gold embossment on this card. However, the texture is completely wrong, the holo is off, the clouds don’t have the “glossy” texture, and the “confetti” holographic that this card is known for is missing. I added some pictures pointing out the texture, but there are many other details that are off as I mentioned

I’m hoping Bandai makes more cards like this. Even these pictures don’t do the card justice. It’s too bad the other gold and silver SPs aren’t as flashy as the luffys. Also these are dipping in price rn, great opportunity to get in imo
I’ve been trying to pick up a gold luffy forever and just when I got close with enough to trade for one, the OP17 luffy crew rare got revealed and now I’m split 50/50. Which would you rather have? I have an opportunity to trade for a BGS 10 English gold luffy, but if I do that, I definitely won’t have enough stuff to trade for the crew luffy. Please help.

Been eyeing this card for a while and I wanna get it before it becomes truly out of reach for me. I’m having trouble comping BGS 10 copies, but if anyone has been to any shows recently, do you know what people are stickering or selling it at?
Kind of a broad question but I’ve been having a hard time picking up new stuff and I’m looking for manga and anime that are genuinely life changing for people. For me, some that stand out are: one piece, berserk, welcome to the NHK, onani master Kurosawa, Vinland saga, ping pong the animation, chainsaw man, punpun, aku no Hana, mob psycho, and probably more I can’t think of.
What do you guys think about these two cards from the Japanese 3rd anniversary set? I think these are awesome and feel like a lot of people don’t know about them. Idk if I should buy them separately or buy the whole 3rd anniversary set
I’ve been waitlisted for Samuel merritt’s Fall 2026 ELMSN program since March 3 and I’m honestly losing hope at this point. Ive been in contact with an admission counselor and at least as of a week ago, apparently there’s been no movement on the waitlist which is crazy if true, considering how expensive SMU is. Honestly just making this post because it’s been so stressful waiting all this time 😭. Not to mention it’s not a numbered waitlist. It’s a “holistic” waitlist, so whatever that may mean. I made a post before when I got waitlisted, but is there anyone else waitlisted for SMU here? Or anyone from previous cohorts that’s been on the waitlist? Honestly just looking for something to keep me going lol
I absolutely need these. Idk how you guys feel about these but I think they’re the coolest mangas they’ve released in a while. Having such an iconic scene portrayed by the three mangas was a great decision by Bandai. Not to mention they’re relevant antagonists. I wouldn’t mind picking them up each around $1k-$1.5k, especially because they share a manga spot. What do you guys think? I’m also split because I’ve been saving up for these but I’m scared that OP17 will have stuff I also can’t pass up on
